Front Garden Design for new family home​

The brief for this garden design was to completely change the rectangle of lawn into something imaginative, with new shapes and layers of planting to look through. I designed overlapping curves spinning around a circle, using Corten steel, contrasting gravels and paving to tie in with the colours of the house. There are structural evergreens, softened by grasses and perennials and trees and shrubs to bring blossom and height. It was only planted late in the summer and already looking pretty established! A total change from the bare lawn, and a massive improvement for the butterflies, birds and insects making themselves at home. 🌿🦋🍃
