The owner of this garden wanted a fresh, cottage style but low maintenance planting scheme for her garden. The new planting design will bring in plenty of colour, variety and will attract bees and butterflies. There is still space for the children to play, and the plants are all robust enough to take being hit by the occasional cricket ball.

The mature lilac trees and apple have been retained whilst other overgrown shrubs removed, and new ornamental trees planted for all year interesting foliage and bark, and to bring an element of privacy to the garden.

The finished garden with new turf settling in nicely. The young plants benefited from a mild, sunny start to the summer, and the family are delighted to be using their new garden.
